Re: C.V./Resume

My own personal distiction between the two, which I use in practice:

I work in the film industry in Vancouver. I've worked on everything from big budget Hollywood productions ("Catwoman", "X Men")...

Re: Thoroughly disullusioned - BC (not for minors)

Haven't been around here long, but I've been sort of noticing/getting used to certain people's posting styles/worldviews. This explains this one...

Ok, I've got to admit something here. I consider myself a stand-up guy into full disclosure, so here goes...

Re: comparasions, pros and cons of living in b.c

OR...the OP slagging off Canuck fashion sense, then going on to mention shopping at cross-border "outlet stores" (which, as we all know, is that ubiquitous secret code for "cheap crap"). Yessiree, it...

Re: comparasions, pros and cons of living in b.c

Re: comparasions, pros and cons of living in b.c

Re: ... been here 3 weeks & ....

To the OP:

Put it this way. Next time you buy a bottle of wine, and whinge to yourself about the GST/PST added (as we all do), find solace in the fact that if you drink yourself to near-death, 'ya...

Re: The World Cup - Supporting USA

Brazeeeeeeeeeeeeel!

Pele was my idol as a lad, love the samba, and Brazil's got a great team.

So, in answering the OP's question, YES: if the US pulls some kind of miracle/fluke and gets in the...

smelly: One final note. I didn't really read your above quote very carefully the first time...I just want to reiterate these game times in relation to your "world cup fever" statement. I'm probably...

Hey, good luck to 'ya mate. I hope everything works out for you. (If ever 'in doubt' about your decision to move, just head up into the Rockies an hour out of Calgary and 'commune' with the grizzly...

Re: World cup watching
