Using laptop as dial up in OZ

I have bought a laptop for use in OZ and the apartment has dial up connection, the only problem is what lead do i need to plug into the phone socket or adapter.
Has anyone bought or done this...

We are flying with Singapore Airlines with just a quick stop at Singapore then arrive in Brisbane on the 10th at 19.45.

yes they do feed them, thats why most dogs are over weight when picked up.
Too much food and no exercise.

we are using chilworth kennels in southampton.
i was told yesterday on meeting owner that they stay in there cages sealed for 42 hours, it is really upsetting me thinking that my boy will be locked...
