p.s. the original comment I made was relative to the cold I experienced growing up in the UK. Like I say I don't know about Canada on a broader basis except I hear its always raining in BC !

I have not lived anywhere else in the winter in Canada other than Edmonton so I cannot comment on 'relative' coldness within different parts of Canada but to me minus 30 is what I would call...
