I think its more down to beaurocracy trying to control what we can and cant do rather than some bullshit about non existent diseases just to make an extra $7 per kilo!

I think you are not right about that you cannot be allowed to grow ornamental bananas, as they are not a threat to the banana industry.

We just moved house and the gap where the cooker is, is only 540mm, but Ive seen a lot of nice stainless steel modern cookers, but mainly 600mm. There are loads of 'new' yet old fashioned 1980's...
