Depending on weather and traffic conditions something between 8 and 10 hours. Also bearing in mind, the speed limit in the states is lower than the uk (55 to 65 mph) and you have to pay toll on...

hi there,
you shouldn't have any problems as we landed in exactly the same way back in 2003.Flew from uk to Newyork, stayed a week there then did the drive to niagra falls.Landed the following day...

Hi there,

We received our pr status many years back and landed in canada via new york in august 2003 spending just a day in canada..and got our resident cards posted to us through a friend....
