I think that the contract also states that they have to give good reasons as to why they have made any changes they have made. I think also that the plans of the rooms show the doors opening outwards...

Delighted to hear this! I think the problem arises when they get their measurements slightly wrong - which builders do every so often I guess, well Fadesa seem to. so it seemed sensible...
