As a rule, I am Mr Anti-Lease man, preferring to buy a nearly new and run it for a long time (plus I do too many miles to make a lease viable).

However, if I did not do many miles, I would perhaps...

Hi Elvira, We're quite fortunate because we're hoping to crack it without a mortgage after lucking out over the last few years with timely buys in the UK, so I hope we'll avoid fees and credit score...

Oh, thats good news - but the seller gets stiffed for 6%! I've sold two houses in the UK, and each time bitched and whinged at the estate agents to get the fee down to 1.5-1.6%!

6% just seems...
