Cool, thanks. 50% of our property loss exceeds the small bit of freelance, so thats straight forward. Still no UK tax to pay :D

also longer term, I will be continuing to recieve a couple of design commissions from UK companies. Given that I'm not resident, once I'm PR, I assume I'll need to charge then in CDN $

i was told this by Scotia, but HSBC said they did...so who knows :D

Whats mad is I had no problem getting a mortgage from Scotia or HSBC (at the time, HSBC was much better rate. Scotia penalised...

I seem to have confirmation that you need to be a Citizen to adopt from China, if thats of any interest to any one. Not an issue for some other countries.

We've been trying for 6-7 years to have a baby, with no luck and gone though all the usual things.

Were now looking at the adoption route and we havent ruled out any avenues yet, just looking at...

We got a loan from the bank that provided our mortgage (HSBC). From memory we were limited to a pre 2001 car (?) and would give a max of 21k (we went with about 14 in the end)

We are looking at the possibilities of adoption. We are underway with our PR which should be completed mid 2007.

Does anyone have any experience of International Adoption as a PR (not a Citizen)...

So, I've had it confirmed my employer can nominate via the PNP programme, so thats good news. Three different sources (including work) have told me PR via the PNP program only...

I didn't say it was sponsored, just via. They pay all the fees, lawyers etc provide help etc etc, its just there slow on getting back to me etc etc and dont have any experience with bring parents...
