Update on this ... my parents just called .. seems like his visa (whichever one he eventually applied for) was approved ... so I guess we will be having a visit from a convicted kidnapper in the next...

Thanks for the replies ... I know he has already sent off for all of his police records etc ... so - fill out B2 and then they will contact him for an interview .. or fill out the B2 and then contact...

Well - i got my bit of paper and am now all official and everything :)

Got there nice and early (my wife has some kind of phobia about getting anywhere at least 2 hours before we need to be there)...

Have to go back to OKC .... Weds June 25th @ 1pm.

Just got back from my interview ...

appointment time was 9:25 .. i was called in at exactly 9:25 and was back in the car by 9:40 ..

took about two mins to check my ID and swear that the info...

Looks like its 24 days in advance of the election you have to register here in Oklahoma. So it'd be around the 10th October you would have to be registered by ... you got plenty of time :)

Wow !

Seems like you can't catch a break. You would have thought that they could have found a gap in the schedule before the first person or after the last person at some point in the next two...

I'll probably need 'em down the line for something anyway .... so its no biggie to send off for more - if they don't get here in time - I'll take the ones that we have left and make photocopies too...

I figured when we started this that getting five certified copies of everything should be enough - i guess i was wrong ... I'm down to my last copies of everything i ordered - so i figure somewhere...

Got this reply from her ...

"I originally applied in July last year.. I think I went for the fingerprints in November... Then back to OKC for the actual interview in January.

They told me...
