Ottawa.

The Gatineau hills are less then half an hour away and Tremblant is two hours away.

Lots of other outdoor activities with Gatineau Park nearby along with the Rideau Canal for skating in...

Whoever mentioned that Barrhaven is rough, much less comparable to South Keys, is just plain ignorant.

Barrhaven has one of the highest birth rates of any community in Canada with a low crime...

There's a nuclear power plant in Pickering while there isn't one in the western burbs. Also, the airport is in the west part of the metro.

There's already a bunch in Ontario. But in Ontario they are different and they're more or less the same as the giant new Loblaws Markets that Loblaws has been building in the past three years.

That's pretty far fetched unless they live in the east end and work in west end or they work downtown, live outside the greenbelt and drive instead of taking public transit.

If you're in tech then you'll find most of the opportunities in Ottawa in the western suburb of Kanata. There are plenty of small town communities that are within a 40 minute drive of there. Places...
