Like I said before seabass, although there is very little chance of them doing anything the fine will likely not dissapear so even if they don't actively seek you out, if you come back and are pulled...

Well I wasn't only given a G1 and hadn't been driving for two years. This was in Septemeber. They gave me a full license.

Alberta have gone one better than this though. Any new driver of ANY age has to spend 1 whole year in the car with another person, doesn't matter if they are ready to take their test after a month...

I actually exchanged it in Cochrane before we moved to Canmore. The licensing place in Canmore is at the end of Main Street exactly where OzRob described it.

They should have no problems changing...
