Re: Please help- nightmare getting hold of anybody

Hi

Sorry not to have logged back in to say thanks: I was out of the country for a bit, and also I couldn't remember my password.

Well, after bombarding CHC with emails, somebody has finally...

Please help- nightmare getting hold of anybody

Hi

Please could somebody give me a name or phone number or something for somebody at Canada House who might actually help me with this, please? I'm getting increasingly worried.

As some of you...

Re: Sadly having to withdraw

I did do a search, but it's hard to know what to look for. I searched under "withdraw", "break up", "partner" etc.

The other thing is that I'm just not sure I could afford it on my own. The...

Re: Sadly having to withdraw

But the application I've submitted wouldn't be valid for one person, though, would it? I'd still have to withdraw and start again, I think?

Sadly having to withdraw

Firstly, hi to anybody who remembers me. I haven't posted for a long time now because I haven't been able to face this place. My relationship of well over a decade ended in the summer, which means...

Re: My landing experience, the cats journey, 1st week...

Oh, I'm so pleased that it went well, especially with your cat. I'm so worried about taking my own cats on that route one day so it's lovely to read reassuring stories!

Re: to all those flying with globespan

I'm not sure what you mean? People who are "flying with Globespan" presumably have tickets already, so how would that help? No refunds these days.

Re: Should I stay or should I go? .... again

Good advice has already been given, but I just wanted to add that I seriously don't think CHC would look kindly on being asked to hang on for a year. Either you want PR or you don't, and they don't...

Re: flyglobespan

Canpickle, can you remember if the seat layout in Premium Economy was groups of two at the sides, by the way? If we end up in a 3 after all I will... well, I will be very British, and by god will I...

Re: flyglobespan

Oh god, I really am SO looking forward to this most luxurious of flights. FFS. Is it illegal to take laptops in the cabin, now? I may need one to beat the flight attendants to death.

Re: flyglobespan

Yes, I did this last time I flew to Vancouver, and as you say it's great to have those groups of two seats. Made the flight a lot more bearable, as long as you don't sit too near the loos of course!...

Oh, I thought you just meant I was really irritating :D. That too, obviously.

When (if) I ever get to the emigrating stage, I will be too busy breathing into a paper bag and trying to steal valium...

Re: Seeking advice on Vancouver

I love Yaletown and hope to live there one day, but it is expensive.

Kitsilano is ok but a bit more hippy-dippy. I don't like it as much but I do remember it being cheaper, so that would probably...

Re: flyglobespan

I can't find a seat-map now to check, but I'm sure that when I booked my flights for October, the Premium Economy seats where in a different layout to normal Economy: 2-3-2 as opposed to 3-3-3. This...

Re: I will NEVER fly with Flyglobespan EVER AGAIN!!!

Aww, crap, I'm getting really worried now. I'm scheduled to fly with them in October: should I be worried? I paid for the tickets by credit card, so I d have a bit more protection, I think?

Should...

Re: How Much Money..............

I think this is one of those impossible questions, as so much depends on how many of you there are, your lifestyle and standard of living, what sort of salary level you are used to, etc.
