I know its a bit of a late reply. Im a carpenter and arrived in perth 3 months ago. I got work straight away and since ive been on site it seems that there are loads of jobs for carpenters....

Depends where you end up working. If you are going on a big site or house bashing etc.
some are better than others.
you can take over a 1000 on some sites.
