Thanks for the advise.
I called them this morning and the agent said that it takes Calgary office 10 months to schedule me for the exam after they do the background check and that I won't hear from...

I sent my application end of February 2006 and they haven't schedule me for the test yet!
I live in Calgary Alberta , should I start to worry? :confused:

Guess what! I checked my E-cas and it also says "We sent you a letter on April 03, 2006" also "Medical received"
I guess they sent them all at once :D

a piece of advise
wait until it is exactly 8 months since they've received your application and check your E-cas the next day.Because, from personal experience, checking the E-cas every day...

But unfortunately the inland processing times went up today to 8-9 months! more delays I'm afraid. But lets all hope to hear the good news soon...

Yeah, Good Luck Iggy, hope you are next, I guess our turn won't be before January if they don't keep on increasing the processing timelines. Yesterday we called the CIC call center asking them why...

I was wondering if anybody sponsoring his spouse from inside Canada (and application received after March 21st) has already got his/her AIP?
The reason I'm asking is that CIC has been processing...

But you have one BIG advantage: you live in YOUR country, u can WORK, DRIVE, live a normal life, even for 44 months!!!
Before saying that you should try to live in Canada, stuck at home for 8...

My wife's was received end of April ,so I guess her case is between Iggy's and Bmido's .
hold on Maple leaf if every thing goes well you should receive your work permit early December :beer:

I didn't know that they have a quota for spousal sponsorship application.
But true it is frustrating to see that they update the processing time for all applications but for the inland spousal...
