Hi,

There is a levy in public education that you have to pay every year.Each school sets their own.
My two girls are in primary and I have to pay $250 each. This covers books, stationary etc....

Yes you can buy an investment property once you have your own dwelling.
The stipulation is that it needs to be a new build and you still are required to fill in the forms for the FIRB...
