Yes. I've never had a problem with receiving emails from uscis. I know some people have had issues but I think that's the expection rather then the rule.

We just got a "Card Production ordered" e-mail on 8/31. I'm sure the card will be in the mail shortly.

Why not get legally married at the court house or somewhere else quick. Then file your AOS now before the fees go up (7/30)? You’ll have your EAD faster and save yourself some $$. You can still do...

My husband is Mexican. He used his paternal last name for all AOS documents. He listed his maternal name in the other names used selection. He has not had problems using his green card and...

Assuming the H2b was your last valid visa, maybe 'H2B - Overstay'. Undocumented sounds more like you entered w/o inspection.

If I were in your place I would get a 551 stamp on her passport. I think she can make an infopass appt to get one.

Sounds like they made a mistake the first time. The instructions on the uscis.gov site for the I-485 states that people age 14-79 need biometrics.

We had an attorney and my husband's card was mailed to our home address. Anyway congrats on the interview date!

One thing about long overstays is that they can trigger bans from the US. You may have trouble if he has left the US and returned after a long overstay. Also He can not leave the US until he has...

What about marrying her in another country. A beach wedding in the Caribbean maybe? Or the US? If you could get her here on a B2 marry her then send her home for DCF that would solve the problem...

It can take 6 months of credit history to get a credit score, which is what most companies use to determine your credit worthiness. Applying for credit in so many places is going to HURT your credit...

Photos for interview

I'm taking some photos to the interview, and I have noticed that some people take copies of the photos. Would a clear photocopy be acceptable or do you think they want a normal photo for the file?

You are dead on with the FICO score calculation. There is one thing that you may not have considered. If they run a balance then the card company probably will increase the credit line...
