If you can and do open an account - use the Nationwide. It charges NOTHING for worldwide withdrawls. We have used it here in BC for years. It is a debit card with a visa sign on - that confuses the...

I have bought PROPER pillow cases here, in sets from the Bay and Sears, but it is hit and miss. Ask for sets to be opened, staff here are SO accommodating and don't go into a flap about opening...

You seem to be in the same position as my husband and I. We retired here two years ago and manage really well. Things are so much cheaper here compared to the UK. It's hard having to buy everything...

Yes, you're right. All the bedding here is larger - twin, double etc.
It's not worth trying to squeeze yours on - I've been there!
If you have UK king size they may fit queen size here. Have...
