i have opened the trusty 4wd book (dirty weekends in Queensland)

Landcruiser park is $32 per vehicle for 24 hours, 18 for the day

Alternative could be to camp at Lake Borumba - near Imbil...

we shipped our stuff last July and didn't land in oz till early october. We only ended up payiong 1 weeks storage cos of the time it spent in customs etc. I would suggest getting it on its way...
