Is xe.com still a good way of transferring funds from UK bank account?

Hello chaps,

Been several years since I transferred money over. Last time I used xe.com, anything better around now? (in terms of not charging large fees).

She got it through Barclays in the end. I think they had just introduced a new policy where she could get the full 90 days. I don't know how much it was I'm afraid and I can't ask her as her memory...

Hello all,

My Mum who's in her 70s is going to visit me for a couple of months (or up to the 90 days max) this winter. Obviously I need to make sure she has health insurance while she's out here....

I know. At least I am moving back to live in a house I own. Unfortunately not in my favourite State, but it makes the most financial sense at the moment.
