Manila's nice. A british friend of mine was saying he couldn't believe that the Philippines is a poor country...up until he ventured outside the makati and ortigas area.:)

As a Filipino, of course I'd want to retire here in the Philippines, but I think for everyone else, I'd recommend Thailand. Thai people are naturally friendly, and the cost of living over there is so...
