I've come to the conclusion a lot has to do with which bank it is. My bank tells me they are just not yet configured to provide these services without a SSN, but probably will be in the future.

I am a UK citizen currently residing and working in Central America. I use a US bank account but cannot get online banking because I don't have a U.S. Social Security Number. Can anyone help me...
