Mr.Miller,

If i fail to provide my residential address at the time of landing and provide it after a week or two, will i have to submit the application for PR card OR simply call the CIC call...

I think rich wales is right. May be the notice was wrong and i shall go by the statute. Thanks to everyone who clarified that it was in fact 2/5 years stay which is required to maintain PR status.

Well ! I wish so, but the Notice along with CPR given by Consulate says otherwise. Are there any who got PR papers after new rule is implemented ?

Question Moving to Montreal after landing, Please advice

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if non-quebec immigrants are allowed to settle in quebec immediately after landing.(after landing in some other province)

If so will there be any problem in...

Hi Gopesh,

You have to go to Police Station and mention "The finger prints are required for canadian Immigration NOT for INS".
You may want to carry the print out from CIC guide which shows the...
