Visa Granted

I am so happy. My fiance visa was granted on April 27, 2005. I have to enter Australia by October 27, 2005 and have until Jan. 27, 2005 to get married. Thank you for all your helps and advices.

I am still waiting for the return of my passport and the grant letter. I sent the passport and prepaid fedex express envelope to Washington D.C on April 20,2005 via overnight post.

So the 6 months from date of grant is only a deadline to be in Australia but i will get 9 months to process Spouse Visa once i m in Australia?

I received my police records on 2-1-2005 and did my medical on 2-14-2005 (Dr. forwarded to embasssy on feb 28,2005).

I never knew the results of my medical reports other than the fact that i failed the vision portion of the exam. I don't know the reasons why i get 6 months entry as opposed to 9 months.

I got an email from my case officer that my fiance visa has been approved. I applied on Feb 1,2005 and recieved approval notice on April 19,2005.

Good point that you make. The document does not exist. There is no way i can furnish to them what they request other than to accept alternative documents. If i had one, i would have submitted to them...

I got my U.S passport because i became a naturalized U.S Citizenship in December 8, 2003. Since I didn't have birth certificate, I supplied with my application a notarized copies of my U.S passport....

I went to that site too and it returned only 6-8 results on prospective marriage from U.S. Regarding my HIV testing, i called the doctor and he said go tested in my town and send the result to him....

I think maybe your deadline date is abit too far in the future. If you think you may need it soon set it about two weeks from the date you send in your request that way they will try to expedite your...
