I'm doing my licence now and Victoria is where they process all of of the lower mainland commercial driving licence applications- it doesn't matter where you 'go' unless your processing from northern...

There is a 2 month waiting list from Victoria (ICBC) to actually be allowed to go for for the class 1 theory test at the moment. Make sure you get your driving history from DVLA aswell as they want...

Hey, I looked into this. It is on the noc list but you will find it really hard getting a labour market opinion as there are a lot of Canadian employees in this field.

Looking back at the email...I think it is the real deal, as they included my PR app number, and full address, and full names of wife and I.

Be careful with Parcel force, we did a search on here and found that were losing alot of mail- as they only track until it leaves the UK.

Have you not thought about DHL, we found they were similar...

We are not intending to live in Montreal for more than 2 years. After that we will be moving to South Ontario area.

On the PR app we put Toronto as landing airport.

Contacted our nearest Doctor from the CIC list in Leeds, and they explained in detail what happens- roughly the same as your post. Cost not to bad either.
