Last in KSA around 1997.... and in the Emirates around 1990. Would quite like to get back to the UAE... just have to see what's around.

Probably not. Most European DVD's will output both NTSC & PAL as PAL. Not much use for Canada as the TV expects a NTSC signal

You can buy 'reasonable' quality (I have a Malata) multiregion DVD...
