You can use 2015 valuation or straight line value increase (which worked out way less tax in my case). Either way you need to report the sale to HMRC and pay the CGT in 60 days not wait until self...

Just get an Eta it will get you on the plane then show your expired passport to enter the Uk if the egates reject you which they probably will not. Regardless of what you might read plenty are...

If you show up at the border they can't refuse you - they only say checks can cause a delay "Oh I see your foreign passport says born in the UK............... . Next"
