Well im a bit shocked , but i got my email to go back to mail box Holborn Wednesday and today I went over there and picked up a passport with 5 year waiver.

Had completely given up on getting...

thanks, that’s what I’m going to do - heading up into town today to try and get it sorted , boys off school so will hit a museum or something after too to at least make a bit of a day of it

Thanks Jools - yes that’s the visa type , was London embassy too .

Ill have another go at logging into the consular website tomorrow as the password etc stored on my work pc and can’t access...

Ok thanks I’ll try that.

its frustrating isn’t it - loads of mates told me I was stupid at the time and just to do what they all do and go on the ESTA but I thought better to just be straight...

Been reading through this a bit today and thought I'd throw my own interview date and details up, by the looks of it Im not getting a waiver but thats life I guess.

Interview 1st November...
