Perfect, thanks for the conformation. All to familiar with the challenge of getting certificates from South Africa! It's the last resort option. Thanks again for the input/advice

Thanks BritInParis! Helpful as ever. My mother was married in South Africa, as was my grandmother. All the original certificates are with my parents in South Africa so I guess a process of trying to...

Fair question! My assumption on eligibility is based on other very similar scenarios to my own that are described in this forum.

In nutshell -

Grandmother born in Scotland 1937
Mother born...
