Thanks. I'm sure that someone has walked through my footsteps before. I failed to consider the 1040/NR and how that could play out as everything is theoretical in my mind.

Wow... I had no idea it was based on worldwide wealth or had considered the notion that an "exit tax" existed. If I added it all up, it would estimate my global wealth comes close to 800-900k.

Apologies, I was not clear, I am not married to an American. My intention was to give up my LPR. I get that the 50/50 comment will be an impossibly once I give up my residency permit.
