UK Taxes on USA income Earned prior to returning

As a USA citizen do you need to pay UK taxes on income earned in the USA between 5th April 2025 and end of July 2025 when you move residence permanently to the UK at the end of July 2025?

Thank you to those who read my question, but I figured it out. Obviously, you cannot send your passport until after your biometrics since you need it to prove who you are at that appointment.
