Point is regardless what passport you used to book the return ticket, if you turn up at the check in at an EU airport for your return leg and your EU passport is in the API, there is no way on Earth...

I have done my research and it has confirmed that you are talking absolute rubbish!

Passport is only relevant if you apply for ETIAS as the result of it is linked to the passport you used to apply...
