So Update…. I received an email today to say my passport has been sent via DX… that’s 7 business days from when it was approved…

interview Jan 24th
submit passport June 12
just over 7...

yea it’s a really long time to have someone’s passport

patience is a virtue I guess with a total of 8 months so far ….

thank you. It doesn’t say issued as yet. Still saying approved since last Thursday so I guess another waiting game. This week makes 8 weeks since they’ve had my passport

mine was jan 24
I was asked to submit passport June 12 and it was sat in administrative processing for 7 weeks. Approved last Thursday and now been pass to the final stage and that could take god...

I didn’t understand until now, so thank you for clarifying … I just ASSumed the visa was being issued as that’s what the email said

so I still possibly have a long wait...

apologies if I have it wrong …… I received the email just over 7 weeks ago to submit passport for visa issuance. Online it says … administrative processing. It’s been saying that since June...

I know… i wish I knew I could get a 2nd passport. Now I don’t think it’s worth me trying to get another as I have a feeling I’ll be contacted. It’s a long time to have someone’s passport....

wow I had no idea you could do this and surprised my employer didn’t share this. I think I will have to do this as I’m not confident in it coming anytime soon due to this backlog

awww yes the average is 4-6 months and I was bang in the middle. I was definitely expecting them to have my passport for up to 21 working days but I’ve gone way passed that. I’m greatful but...

I know I think that’s far too long now and you can’t do anything about it. I have to keep waiting but Tuesday will make 7 weeks since they’ve had my passport ….. something just isn’t right

Well my email was 5 months later and came in at 9am. I sent my passport off almost 6 weeks ago and still waiting for it to come back
