Not compatible with all Chromebooks (Intel/AMD only apparently), but Linux Mint could be an option for aging hardware. Haven’t yet had the opportunity to try it myself.

Spanish isn’t a prerequisite for day to day, but for employment probably a necessity. There are plenty of people companies to help with residency side.

AEAT takes the annual tax from my N26 account without issue. But some government agencies using the same payment gateway won’t allow online payments e.g. DGT.

If more than equivalent €50,000 … don’t forget a Modelo 720 declaration and if account opened last year, a declaration is due before end of March.

For TIE?? Not in my experience. Maybe lucky but NLV renewal approved and TIE appointment within an hour of each other. Also friends using local company were waiting weeks. Showed them how to do it...
