The visa is only applicable for 90 days, so make sure when you apply for your VISA you leave enough time to start in Saudi and it is within the 3 months period from date of issue,.

I am in the process of resigning from my current role, and therefore the VISA process.
I have been told the degree does not have to be attested to obtain the VISA, as long as it is...

That does sound like a risk, because accommodation is not guaranteed anytime soon. Plus you have to think about schooling as well, are kids guaranteed places?
