What documentation do I need to drive my person belongings from UK to Italy.

Hi,
Despite living in Italy for many years I still have some person belongings stored in the UK. I now need to bring them to Ity due to a change of circumstances and would prefer to drive them over...

Would this still be the case if the relative who died was a UK citizen and inheritance tax had already been paid in the UK? That would mean inheritance tax had been paid in 2 countries. Seems unfair....
