I am very aware of the potential difficulties and the costs involved transporting an animal and all the requirements involved. I wish you would stop with all this negativity because it's upsetting...

Good advice from those who suggest temp living arrangements. I have to say I'm more inclined to just sign a lease for a year and look around while living in a stable place. I do not like airbnb type...

I also am concerned about ambulance response time in the UK. I've had to call for one a few times and they're really fast. I've heard/read horror stories from England. Scary.

I don't think I could get private healthcare at my age without a long waiting period. Here, if I need a knee replacement I could get it in a week.

Reading this makes me concerned. I've been trying to decide for years whether or not to move to the UK from the US. I'm a dual Irish/ US citizen. I really want to do this now as I am in my late 60's....
