My company have been trying, unsuccessfully, to relocate me to Shanghai. One option, as a Brit, i am thinking to come across to HK and wait for the situation to ease up from HK.. Can Brits still stay...

Hi friends, i am headed to Penang in a weeks time for a few months, maybe a lot longer (relocating from KL). Would appreciate advice re places to meet up with fellow expats on the Island.
