Thanks - yea she is planning on getting certified in one province, and then transferring it over to the one I'm in now. She's not planning on teaching full time...just supply, but pretty sure she...

Just as an update I had no issue getting a work permit at the border. The wife was issued an open work permit as well on the back of mine. Only annoyance was she's a teacher and as she hadn't...

Thank - yes getting turned around is at the back of my mind too, but solicitors assured me it won't happen unless I say something very stupid that makes me suspicious!
