Thumbs up Re: Carling Cup

I love the cut and thrust of intelligent debate!

As much as it hurts to say it everyone knows that Man Utd are only hated due to their success in the 90's - Red Scum is really a compliment.

Question Carling Cup

Anyone know if this is being shown on any channel in Australia?

Also if anywhere will be showing it in Brisbane?

I feel the need to watch the mighty Latics triumph over the Red scum.

Thumbs up Re: Texas Holdem in Brisbane anyone ?

Give me two months and I'll be there, we land in Brisbane in July also.

Ahh the joys of check-raise bluffing someone... and then losing on the river to a flush!

Thumbs up Re: Walking bear foot in your own home...

Don't remember wearing shoes very often at all when growing up in Victoria.

The only thing you had to watch out for was 'trapdoor spiders' when running bare foot on the grass.

Can't wait to get back and start using some of these again:

Thumbs up Re: uk student loan

Not sure if this works for all student loans (mine is from 1999 to 2002) but, bascially while I'm in Australia I don't have to pay back a penny regardless of what I earn.
As a bonus, apparently if...

Lets get back to being positive and ignore the RL posters.

Thumbs up Re: Whinging Warne to become Whinging Pom

Now like me, I'd guess most of you haven't actually met Mr Warne, or if you have, don't know him personally. Now maybe he is a complete b*stard but it's naive to judge someone entirely upon the...

While not quite in the same league as Warne, Murali etc, I think Vettori is catching up.

Imagine if he got...

Thumbs up Re: Anyone Ever Had A Crack At Booney's Record??

It was cans of lager apparently.

I always thought it was 53 cans but it can vary between 52 and 58 depending on who you ask. Before Boon the record was apparently held by his good mate Merv...
