Thank you, yeah, that is my worry, I'm sure that the rental market will pickup - because capitalism, supply and demand etc - but I really could do with getting over there into somewhere warm and dry...

I'm pretty sure that Schengen is just that you don't get your passport checked when moving between countries in the Schengen area, I'm pretty sure that any EU citizen has the right to live and work...
