they have great exchange rates
i have read the reviews recently have been getting worse. Scary stories. I need to transfer 150k to buy the flat and not sure if to trust them now

there is much i like of the uk too even before considering my uk born children.
Italy is to enjoy the last years of my parents and the sun 🌞.
maybe keeping my uk flat and dipping in...

The idea is £ 2000 net a month spending
living in a coastal small tourist town on the Adriatic
owned flat no mortgage
with a uk pension pot of 300k and another 200k savings. They need to last 30+...

could you share your thoughts on the financial and tax aspects of retiring in Italy. Before i jump.
My pension will not be massive and I am starting to fear that overall cost of living...

Ouch that would hurt private health
already income tax on 2k pension would be triple in italy compared to uk
Add tax on savings and property and health insurance
Is putting me off....

translating it says that if you the property for 5 years you are not taxed.
If you had it for less then 5 years you need to pay the italian capital gain tax.
not sure if this apply to your first...

Question Tax on sale of UK home?

I am moving to Italy in 3 years time and I will sell my UK home, and the sale could be either before or after actually moving.
Will I have to pay any Italian taxes on that, if I am already residing...
