Yeah this, the entire Schengen zone is under the same restrictions as the UK

To get into the USA in January I went to Antigua for 14 nights first but there are now Covid restrictions on that...

You can't fly into the USA directly from the UK without an exemption to do so, you must be out of the UK for at least 14 days to gain entry

I left the UK in January before it became illegal, as long as you had a negative Covid test you could fly to certain countries.

Thanks a friend of mine went to Costa Rica for two weeks during his first 90 days and got back in fine with no questions asked, I guess it may depend what side of the bed the CBP officer woke up on!

Damn, glad I found out before I moved my London flight!

I'm not retired no but am not working at the moment either so spending time away from UK and it's lockdown. I can go to Costa Rica it seems...
