Sorry to jump on thread, my daughter was born Nov 2004, father not on BC and has never met her, I am sole named on her BC do I need to do anything?

Just as an update we were notified today that as this is the first time the company have gone through the LMIA process they had to get a letter of attestation from their lawyers which was either sent...

So it would be my husbands work permit to go with his LMIA, my open permit, and we wouldn't have to pay for the kids? Is that right? Sorry for repeating myself haha.

One thing i had meant to ask, the fee for the work permit is $155 - is that the total fee or would that be for each of us?

OK, so at the moment we're scoring 360 but I assume once we'd both been working for a couple of years the scores would go up?

In terms of the LMIA/TWP is there anything I should be doing that...

Thank you! I did the questionnaire linked above and put in the answers like you said, and it gave me a reference number valid until 27th March? I assume that's what we will use once the LMIA finally...

So once / if the LMIA is approved, we just have to apply for the work permits, police records, biometrics etc? I don't want to miss any steps, I'll definitely check out the wiki on this.

I've just had a look at that and it asked for the English test results, I put none as we haven't done that yet, and we were told we didn't need to as we aren't studying over there? Is that something...

We definitely do want to stay, it's just a bit of a minefield isn't it. We were told that once we had been there for a year we could apply for PR.

To be honest I haven't even thought that far along. Hubs will be on a 3 year contract if approved, I don't even know what our options are.

Yeah the employer have done everything they've needed, my inner control freak is losing it because I can't check on the progress! Just have to wait it out. Thanks for your help x
