Several reasons; safety, location/cost of travelling to Asia, historical sights, museums, souqs - don't fancy the absolute modernity of somewhere like Dubai for instance. We're a quiet couple so...

well, I’m housebound in the UK anyway. I’m about to finish my history degree and there are lots of books I’d like to read for personal enjoyment. I’m very much a home-body/indoor girl.
