Re: Recommended shipping companies US->UK?

Not yet. The recommendation for Pickfords is one we will follow up on as we know them from our time in England. Having a company based in the UK seems best as the import regulations will be the...

Recommended shipping companies US->UK?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a shipping company from the US to the UK? We were thinking that a UK based company would be best as they'd most likely be familiar with the import customs and...

Re: Moving back and shipping our dog 6 months later?

Re: Moving back and shipping our dog 6 months later?

Re: US small appliances in UK

Re: Moving back and shipping our dog 6 months later?

Sorry, I must be missing something obvious. As I said, I've been through the government site repeatedly and not found what I need.

The Balai directive mentions wild dogs only, not pets other...

Re: US small appliances in UK

Getting a voltage transformer is fairly simple, but some equipment needs the right frequency (Hz). I found a converter that will go from 240v/50Hz to 110v/60Hz on Amazon for $40, but it only handles...

Re: Moving back and shipping our dog 6 months later?

Yes, hence my question. I've been through the government web site repeatedly without finding anything useful. Has anyone had experience with the "different rules"? It seems that the move becomes a...

Question Moving back and shipping our dog 6 months later?

Has anyone moved to the UK and left their dog behind for a few months? The details of bringing a dog back are fairly straightforward, but it's less clear what you do if your dog travels separately....
