Good points made.Income wise, we will be retired on Private UK pension and private PMI .Apols confused citizenship & residency .
Probably too early to apply for research residency...

thanks for the reply. The considerations are

1.Looking for more authentic Spain as opposed to Little Britain in the Sun
2.Love History and the likes of Cadiz/Seville appeal....
