Yes we are planning to get lawyers. Because we will be moving back once our contract expires and child will be a minor 8 years old.
Recommendations on a lawyer versed in this area will be helpful.

non Hague country but on the list of approved countries where I have been living for the last decade.

Adoption was made in home country but through a USA agency being adoption ready for both domestic and international.

We have not tried. Just about to apply and saw the new rules on restricted countries. But yes it is fully legal here and with all the associated documents.
