I just returned recently from a 3 week trip (residency gained- hurrah!!!). Husband travelled separately, we both filled in the passenger locator forms for Portugal never asked.
UK again both filled...

We are possibly planning to do a similar thing, I may be mistaken but my main concern would be if you are classed as a Portuguese resident at the point of sale Portuguese CGT would apply...
