I guess they are sending the invitation e-mail about 1 week prior to the interview.

Assuming 5200's information is correct, if FX is going to interview 1000 more candidates it will take at least 2...

Which makes sense. After all, physical tests are an eliminatory stage while interview may be subject to assessment. That way they are able to shortlist a reasonable number of candidates to undergo...

You could try to reach someone who might have been deployed in the field from your law enforcement agency and get an idea. That was my case, I got a very good feedback.

In my case, I wouldnt leave my confort zone for a worst paycheck, but definitly I am taking my chances on the grounds of having specific training and working opportunities/experiences....

They are probably overwhelmed with the all process. Take it as a perk, that way you have time to get prepared for physical tests.
