Thanks. We're aware that lack of credit history there will be an issue. We took out an Amex card a while ago to help with this, but any other tips welcome!

Yes my husband had to pay the USD500 for his blanket L1. The other fees were issuance fees for the L2s.

Thanks for the input everyone, this is really helpful. Can't believe I left out cell phones! We'll up the budget to $300 for TV, internet & cell phones. I can't imagine we'll have a 'premium' TV...
