Thanks. We're aware that lack of credit history there will be an issue. We took out an Amex card a while ago to help with this, but any other tips welcome!

We had our appointment on a Wednesday and our passports were available to collect the following Monday (we live in London so collection was an easy option). I think they may actually have been...

Yes my husband had to pay the USD500 for his blanket L1. The other fees were issuance fees for the L2s.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I can't find the info anywhere.
My family have our interviews booked at the embassy in London for L1 & L2 visas (no NIE or anything involved)....

Thanks for the input everyone, this is really helpful. Can't believe I left out cell phones! We'll up the budget to $300 for TV, internet & cell phones. I can't imagine we'll have a 'premium' TV...
